On Thursday, May 14th, Microsoft rolled out a new Windows 10 Mobile build for participants of the Windows Insider Program. Build 10080 was released to fast ring participants, and the build included numerous new changes and improvements, along with additional stability problems and bugs. (or as Zac puts it, this build is outrageously buggy)
Turns out, Microsoft may not release the same build to slow ring participants due to these reported issues. “10080 isn’t likely to go to Slow ring because of a few issues being reported. Will look to next build as candidate for Slow,” Microsoft’s Gabriel Aul stated on Twitter.
Typically, Microsoft will release a build to the fast ring and then release it to the slow ring a week or two later with a few fixes in tow. In this case, it looks like slow ring participants will likely get a newer build of Windows 10 Mobile. Again, Aul said 10080 “isn’t likely” to be released, but there is still a chance that Microsoft may roll it out. Stay tuned!
