It’s Patch Tuesday everybody! As expected, Microsoft released a new cumulative update for non-Insiders running the Anniversary Update today.
Update: This update is available for Release Preview too.
Build 14393.321 is now live for everyone with a regular update setting (via Windows Central), also called “Production Ring.” The update, as usual, probably includes minor performance improvements, battery enhancements, and some bugfixes so nothing too exciting. Unfortunately, there is no changelog available and so this is just a wild guess what it could contain.
If you are updating your PC, the update will be listed as KB3194798, which is the name of the 14393.321 update. Other devices should see the build number instead.
The build should be ready for everyone except older Nokia Lumia devices, devices still on the November Update, or Windows Insiders. You can go and check if your update is downloading from the “Windows Update” tab under “Update & Security” in the settings app.
