Warner Bros. set to release Lego Dimensions on Xbox One in September

Lego Dimensions is set to land on Xbox One on September 27, 2015, adding another Lego game in a long line of successful videogames franchise. Lego is entering the wild world of “toys-to-life” style of video gaming, where Lego sets (purchased separately) can be placed on a special sensor and added to your Lego video game experience on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Lego Dimensions is set to include characters from The Lego Movie, The Lord of the Rings, DC Comics, The Wizard of Oz, Back to the Future, and Lego’s “Ninjago” line of toys.  In the Lego Dimensions Announce Trailer, Gandalf from Lord of the Rings, Batman, and Wildstyle from The Lego Movie all make appearances beside Joel McHale.

Xbox Live members familiar with Lego Marvel Super Heroes will be used to the gameplay of Lego Dimensions where you can play as your favorite characters across a wide range of characters and movie franchises.

The $99.99 Starter Pack will include the Lego Dimensions game, the Lego Toy Pad that lets you add Lego sets to the game, as well as Lego figurines of Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle. Lego Dimensions will also be expandable with Level Packs ($29.99), Team Packs ($24.99), and Fun Packs ($14.99). Each pack will have its own special arrangement of levels, characters, vehicles, and other special bonus items that can be scanned and used within the Lego Dimensions game.

So stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the September 27th release and check out the Lego Dimensions video below.
