Updated YouTube app on Xbox One lets you upload your recoded videos to your account

Microsoft is rolling out an update to the YouTube app on Xbox One, allowing you to share your recorded videos directly to your YouTube account. Now you can say “Xbox, Record That” and ultimately save that video to your YouTube account for everyone to see.

“Game DVR and Upload are among the most popular apps on Xbox One, and a new feature is about to make sharing your game clips even better. Starting tomorrow we’re rolling out an update to the YouTube app on Xbox One allowing you to share this video directly to your YouTube channel,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

The process is simple. Use your Game DVR to capture your favorite gaming moments by saying “Xbox, Record That” then edit the video in Upload Studio. Once you are done editing, head over to the updated YouTube app and look for My Uploads. The updated YouTube app even allows you to watch your videos in Snap mode.

The update rolls out tomorrow, April 8th.
