Universal Emulator is back (but not on the Xbox Store)

Just last week we reported that you almost could have played Nintendo Games on your Xbox One with the Universal Emulator App. Unfortunately, Microsoft quickly pulled the app from the store, but today the app has been restored once again, sans Xbox One support.

As seen above, the news on the app being restored was first spread  on the developer’s Twitter page. According to Windows Central, although support for the Xbox One was removed, the developer is still working on a workaround for Xbox One owners. The prototype apparently involves HTML 5, and the Xbox One’s Microsoft Edge Browser.
