UC Browser 4.0 for Windows Phone brings revamped user interface, better tab management, and many more handy features

The UC Browser for Windows Phone has snagged a major update. The new version is fully compatible with Windows Phone 8.1, sports a revamped user interface, and adds several handy features.

Bumping up the version number to 4.0, the new UC Browser comes with a fresh and aesthetically pleasing visual experience. The browser supports gesture-control, smart download manager, site navigation, as well as file transfer feature across different devices.

The icons have gotten sleeker, and switching between ‘Speed Dial’, ‘Site Navigation’, and ‘My Collection’ sections has become smoother as well. In addition, the ‘Top Sites’ icons now reflect the website’s brand color.

Among other changes, the address bar of the browser has been placed at the lower part of the screen to make it more accessible by the users. Furthermore, the search bar and address bar have been merged to make things simpler. Changing the default search engine is pretty easy as well.

The tab management feature of UC Browser was already one of its best features, and it has just got better. Now you can click the tabs icon next to the address bar and manage the tabs just like you would do in Windows Phone 8.1’s app switching mode. You can also close a tab by swiping it down or clicking on the “x” button. Grab the latest version from the download link below.
