The video game, Runbow, which originally launched on Nintendo’s 3DS and WiiU consoles, will be coming to Microsoft’s Xbox One according to a new ratings approval on the official PEGI website. There has been no official announcement about the Xbox One version but the recent release on Steam does prove that the developers are open to launching their game on non-Nintendo platforms. Here’s the official game description:
With tons of competitive modes for up to 9 players–locally and online–and a massive Single Player Adventure, Runbow is the crazy, colour-based platformer you’ve been waiting for. The world of Runbow changes with each swipe of the background, so you’ll have to stay on your toes as platforms and obstacles disappear–If you can’t see something, it doesn’t exist. Fast, frantic, and fun for up to 9 players, Runbow is filled with tons of modes and content to keep you running back for more.
Runbow is an exceptional platformer in that it allows for up to nine players both locally and online. It’s very likely that multiplayer will appear on the Xbox One version as well however local games will likely be limited to eight players due to the console’s eight-controller limit.
