T-Mobile Tuesdays are a neat promotion put on by the T-Mobile mobile carrier which offers weekly deals on all sorts of things, ranging from restaurants, movies, and other different stores and events. It’s one of the last things you’d look at for some Microsoft influence, but as it turns out, it’s actually being run by the Microsoft Cloud in the background.
Glad you had such an awesome time, Nandi! It's all part of the perks of #TMobileTuesdays. https://t.co/v1RnHgyRa9

The T-Mobile Tuesdays collaboration was the subject of one of the most recent Microsoft blogs, which explained the nature of the partnership, including how Azure ties in with the app and makes sure that it can handle “thousands of redemption requests per second.”
“To make sure millions of customers receive their free gifts every Tuesday, we knew we needed a cloud-based solution that could manage thousands of redemption requests per second,” says Cody Sanford, executive vice president and CIO of T-Mobile. “Microsoft Azure delivers the scale and security of the cloud with the agility we require to deliver a fantastic customer experience.”
Microsoft helps T-Mobile Tuesdays be just one of the thousands of applications out there which help to appeal to an instant-gratification based design philosophy, now consistent across most services. It helps millions of people get what they need when they need it, regardless of whether it’s the middle of the day or the middle of the night. It’s great to get some understanding of how companies like Microsoft help the gears turn elsewhere in our lives.
