Microsoft's Surface slips into some new accessories

The second generation of Microsoft’s tablet is on store shelves now, though the previous model is still alive and well. In fact, gen-one can be purchased at discounted prices this Black Friday. Now, the company is pushing out new accessories for that tablet you may hope to unwrap this holiday season. Looking for the perfect case or sleeve? It now may be available in plenty of time for shipping.

“Chances are if you’ve purchased a Surface you want to protect your investment and keep it safe. You may also want something functional and fun to carry around your Surface in. There is a growing assortment of cases and sleeves that range from stylish to very functional for Surface that fit the bill”, the company announces today.

There is no shortage of variety here — striped and loudly designed cases, a folio for protecting and propping the tablet up. Even a case that contains a hand strap on the rear for ease of handling, Microsoft promises you to not “be fooled by its lightweight feel though, it’s made with a rigid, hard-shell for durable protection.”

“Our list of accessory partners continues to grow as dozens and dozens more are partnering with us to create more fashion styles, colors and more functional accessories for you and your Surface”, says Accessories manager Brian Crum. So which will you choose for your new tablet? Head over to the VIA link below to check out the accessories.
