The Surface Pro 4 is already one of the most portable full-blown computers on the market, with its svelte 8.5 milimeters profile, feathery sub-800 grams of weight and a manageable but still spacious 12-inch display. But what if you want to go even lighter and mobile, while still getting all the Surface goodness? Well, then there’s the Surface 3.
Microsoft’s Surface 3 arrived as the ultimate fix combo to all the faults with previous versions of the non-pro Surface line (not unlike its Pro counterpart). This includes full-blown Windows instead of the gimped RT, a powerful mobile processor in the highest end Cherry Trail from Intel, the much more workable 3:2 aspect ratio, and best of all, the option for 128GB of storage, 4GB of RAM and LTE.
Professionals and business people know how valuable those last 3 features are; the storage, especially, since the full version of Windows takes up a bit more space than mobile OSes. The Surface 3 is a phenomenal machine, and there is no better 10-inch Windows tablet option out there. If you even remotely think about having a super-mobile but adequately powerful device for on-the-go work, then I suggest grabbing it while you still can.
