Accompanying the release of the Xbox One X, Super Lucky’s Tale has released on Xbox and PC. The game is enhanced for 4K at 60 FPS if you’re using the Xbox One X, and still looks pretty nice if you’re playing it on the normal console. While it doesn’t have the same graphical chops as games like Forza 7 or Gears of War 4, it’s an extraordinarily shiny and vibrant platformer that’s an absolute joy to play.

Super Lucky’s Tale is an adorable callback to a simpler time in gaming, where you could just enjoy a game because it’s cute and fun. It’s a great game for kids, and is absolutely enjoyable for any other audiences who miss the platfomer-heavy days of old. The game is starting off at a price tag of $30, so you don’t even need to shell out the classic $60 cost for new games.
