Last night I was checking out Bing Map Preview’s 3-D view of my parents’ home town (because I have a life) and found a picture of my dad washing our cars in the driveway. I was going to send an email of it out but much to my disappointment was met with a message saying that my email could not be sent.
Turns out I’m not the only one who is having issues with Outlook. Some users of Windows Live Mail, Outlook Connector, MSN Premium client, Windows Phone 8.1, and Windows 8 Mail Client have been experiencing issues syncing and sending emails since last night according to Outlook’s service status. They initially stated that they expected it to be fixed within 24 hours but have added an update “Fixing the problem is taking longer than we had hoped. We’ll provide an update by 08 April 10:00. We apologise for the lengthy interruption in service.”
For now it looks like I’ll have to use the web version of Outlook or another alternative to send emails pointing out the very cool, yet somewhat creepy, reality that is 3-D world mapping.
