According to a new report, Microsoft will release the Xbox One on November 29th, ahead of the PlayStation 4 launch. This release date apparently comes from toy retailer Toys ‘R’ Us, who spilled the beans and outed the November 29th date. Apparently, we will see the Xbox One several days before the release of the rival PS4.
Both Microsoft and Sony have not offered an exact release date for their respective consoles, but Toys ‘R’ Us is citing a November 29th release date for the Xbox One and a December 13th release date for the PlayStation 4. Of course, lets not forget about the possibility of going out of stock or hitting unexpected delays.
It is likely not a big deal that the Xbox One is being released before the PS4. According to a recent survey, Sony’s PlayStation 4 will beat Microsoft’s Xbox One during the early phase of the next generation console war. In fact, according to the survey conducted by Strategy Analytics, Sony’s PS4 has a 50% lead over Microsoft’s Xbox One entertainment console.
So it remains to be seen if this release date is accurate or not. Take it with a pinch of salt for now until we hear more concrete information. Either way, November is coming up pretty fast!
