A few weeks ago, Windows Insiders running Groove Music on Windows 10 Mobile were treated to some elements of Fluent Design, the new design language for Windows 10. Well, it turns out that Microsoft also recently pushed out an update for Groove Music on the Production Ring which brings elements of Fluent Design to standard users of the app on both Windows 10 PC and Windows 10 Mobile devices.
Seen above, the version 10.17042.1411.0 update adds a touch of transparency to the sidebar and bottom portions of the app, making things much more fluent looking. The in-app changelog for the update also reveals that new in this version is the ability for Groove Music to automatically create a playlist based off your artists and genres. And, you might also notice that in this version, you also now view music videos directly in Groove Music, which is an added bonus.
The update should be rolling out now to Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 PCs. If you have not already automatically received the update, you can head to the Windows Store now to download away! And, if you’re not using Groove Music, you can find the download link below!
