Pandora Windows 10

Pandora for Windows 10 Mobile recently hit the streets and is now available for Windows 10 desktop. Although Pandora was released as a Windows 10 universal app, the Windows 10 desktop version wasn’t available until now. Pandora also works on Continuum is you have a Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL.
Pandora as a universal app adds some features that used to be exclusive to Windows Phone 8.1:

  • Pin your favorite stations to the Start screen for one-touch access
  • See what song is currently playing on your Live Tile
  • Use voice commands with Cortana

At the moment, the Live Tile on Windows 10 desktop doesn’t update correctly showing the artist or song title playing, but that will likely be fixed in an upcoming update. Pandora also doesn’t run in the background on Windows 10; so when you close it, the music stops. Hopefully, Pandora will work out the kinks and make it work in the same manner as it does for Windows 10 Mobile.
