There are two app updates available in the Windows Store, one update for the Nokia Music app and another update for the Xbox Video app. Microsoft has not provided a change log just yet, so you will have to download the apps and discover its new features for yourself, for now!
Nokia introduced its new Music+ service back in January of this year and if you owned a Nokia Lumia handset, this music service can be the perfect compliment to your Windows Phone device. Paired with the Nokia Music app, you can enjoy the Music+ service on your Windows 8 or Windows RT device!
Microsoft has rolled out an update for its Xbox Video app too, but it is unclear exactly what features are new. According to the app’s release notes, the Xbox Video app now has better access to information about actors and directors. The update also allows you to search anywhere within the app and rate programs by preference and sort programs by ratings.
The update to the Xbox Video app also allows you to see critics’ ratings and make adjustments to the apps volume. There are also improvements to downloading and browsing your collection. Users can also view their purchase history and restore purchased movies and TV shows.
Of course, it is only obvious that both apps feature bug fixes and other minor improvements. Hit the download links below to snag the apps or update them via the Windows Store. Let us know in the comments if you notice any new features or changes. We will publish the change log for both apps once it becomes available.
