If you were waiting for the release of a new Windows 10 Insider build this week, you may be dissapointed by the following. “We don’t love the current options & don’t want to leave you in a bad state during the holidays,” Dona Sarkar explained in a tweet.

And this also means no more builds for 2016. We will release ISO for the Slow ring build next week.

With Christmas nearly a week away, this decision is pretty much understandable. Nobody loves messing with computer bugs during the holiday season, right? For Windows Insiders, this means that you’ll have to keep using the PC build 14986 which was released to the Slow ring yesterday. As for mobile users, the Insider build 14977 was the last one to be released on the Fast Ring two weeks ago.
