NFL Mobile and unofficial Google Maps app for Windows Phone 8 receive updates

For those of you who either use the NFL Mobile app or the unofficial Google Maps app for Windows Phone 8, you will be treated to an update via the Windows Phone Store. The update for NFL Mobile fixes the startup crash issue that was plaguing the app for several days now.

The NFL Mobile app has been bumped to version 8.3.0.0 and fixes the app crash issue that was affecting users. “As the brand new, redesigned and rebuilt official app of the NFL, NFL Mobile is built to bring football right to your Windows phone! Receive Breaking news, Video highlights, Live game scores, Custom Team News, manage your Fantasy Football Team, and more,” the app description reads.

The unofficial Google Maps app for Windows Phone 8 has also received an update. This update, which bumps the version number to 9.0.4.0, brings along bug fixes and other performance improvements. Unfortunately, the change log is still missing so we don’t know exactly what has been fixed.

“Explore new places, discover local favorites, and navigate your world with Google Maps. Now available on Windows Phones with a simple, easy-to-use design. Comprehensive, accurate maps in 200 countries and useful information on over 100 million places worldwide,” the app description reads.
