New image leaks give fans another glimpse of the upcoming Fallout TV series – onmsft.com

There hasn’t been much revealed about Amazon’s upcoming Fallout TV show since it was first announced back in 2020. At least not officially.

But back in July a leaked video from one of the show’s sets showed a Super Duper Mart (the set is apparently located on Staten Island). The Super Duper Mart would entail that the show will follow Fallout 3, which is set in the “Capital Wasteland”—a post-apocalyptic version of Washington, D.C. Filming is believed to have started back in late June or early July.

We now have some new image leaks from a different set. These were first posted on Redditt but have since been removed from there. They are still up on Twitter, fortunately. They show the interior of a vault—”Vault 32,” apparently—and a farmhouse.

The Fallout Amazon series will have Geneva Robertson-Dworet (responsible for rewriting the 2018 Tomb Raider film reboot, and co-screenwriter of Captain Marvel) and Graham Wagner (Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein and Portlandia) as showrunners.

Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Aaron Moten have all been cast for the show, and the rumor is that Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins have also joined, with latter supposedly in the lead role.

The Fallout TV show currently has no set launch date. It’ll be interesting to see how it stacks up against the other contenders in the ongoing Video Game-to-TV adaptation craze, which include Halo (Paramount Plus), The Witcher (Netflix) and The Last of Us (HBO).
