New flagship Windows Phone from HTC on the way soon?

Microsoft and HTC have a storied history together, starting with the early days of Windows Mobile and continuing into the present, with the recent Windows Phone flavor of the popular and well-received One M8 handset unleashed by the handset earlier in 2014.

If recent rumors are anything to go by, HTC may be willing to take their relationship with Windows Phone a step further and step back into the fold with a new flagship handset imbued with a lovely Windows Phone flavour. The device, supposedly titled the ‘HTC Hima’, is expected to offer a 5 inch 1080p screen, a 2840 mAh battery, 3GB of RAM and the latest 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor. HTC apparently may also abandon the 4MP Ultrapixel snapper of the previous version for a new, snazzier, 20.7MP offering.

The Android version of the device is expected to arrive in March 2015, meaning that a Windows Phone variant will likely arrive at a later stage.

Do you think HTC will release another Windows Phone device? Let us know in the comments below.
