In a rather amusing network issue that has since been rectified, many Xbox users’ friends lists went empty.

The glitch first began to appear on August 10. It was apparently a problem on Microsoft’s end, and affected not only users on Xbox consoles but the Xbox App on other devices as well, such as on mobile.

As you can see above, the bug completely wiped out users’ friends lists, causing the display to read nothing but goose eggs. Many Xbox users found amusement in the situation on social media.

About six hours after the issue surfaced the Xbox Support Team announced via Twitter that the bug had been fixed, and everyone’s friends lists have (hopefully) been restored.
