Microsoft has released a new update to its Movies and TV app on Windows 10, bumping the app to version 3.6.1867. This follows a previous update to the desktop app that added subtitles options for personal videos earlier this month.

Today’s update bring some new features to the app on both mobile and PCs, please find the detailed changelog below:

  • Improved media transport control layout and added “skip forward” and “skip back” buttons
  • Download time estimates are now available for movies and TV show downloads
  • Movies and TV shows can now be deleted on each of your devices

These are all welcome additions to the user experience, but we hope Microsoft will keep adding new features as the app still feel a bit barebones. Download the update from the Windows Store or frow the download link below, and please tell us in the comments what are the other features you would like to have on this app.
