One of the most popular games online, Minecraft, allows users to build and create using nothing but imagination. The title was also a hit on the Xbox 360, but now it is making its way to the new generation of the Microsoft gaming platform, arriving on the Xbox One.
Today Xbox Live’s Larry Hryb, fondly known as Major Nelson, announced availability of the title on the latest console. “Build with your imagination! Minecraft, the best-selling game on Xbox 360, is now available on Xbox One. Create and explore your very own world where the only limit is what you can imagine – just be sure to build a shelter before night comes to keep yourself safe from monsters”, he states.
Don’t feel alone though. While you are certainly welcome to play on your own, you can also join with others — up to four people can compete. In fact, that’s split-screen. If you care to compete online then you’ll be able to have eight players.
Best of all, those who played the game on their Xbox 360 can transfer saved game information. Instructions on doing so can be found by following the link below. Minecraft for Xbox One sells for $19.99.
