Microsoft’s Office sees continued growth with 23.1M consumer subscribers and “improvement” in Japan for FY16 Q4

The Q4 earnings report from Microsoft has been reported and it’s showing off a company with some pretty significant growth. Among the laundry list of things being reported, the latest set of numbers we’ve seen confirm that revenue from “Office consumer products and cloud services” is up 19%. Microsoft is crediting its Office improvement to recurring subscription revenue and “strong year-over-year improvement” in Japan.

  • Office 365 consumer subscribers now at 23.1 million
