Microsoft India is launching a specially curated online Artificial Intelligence (AI) program – Week of AI – aimed at enabling the developer community and workforces across organizations across India to harness the power of AI. Since these are virtual sessions, I assume developers across the world will be able to tune in – although the time zone difference might be a hassle.

The five-day program to be held from May 27- 31, 2019 will comprise a series of free workshops to help participants build their skills and expertise in cloud computing, data sciences, AI, and IoT. Additionally, it will also offer insights into the latest trends and key insights into machine learning and AI tools.

The sessions will be addressed by data scientists and AI experts from companies such as Flipkart, Reliance Jio, InMobi, as well as Microsoft.

In the company’s press release, Dr. Rohini Srivathsa National Technology Officer, Microsoft India shared that with these virtual sessions, the company aims to address the existing gap related to AI skills in Indian businesses and hopes to impart AI and ML skills to a larger talent pool.

The free virtual workshop series comprises of five modules of 2.5 hours duration each. Each module will be delivered by industry experts and feature a mix of engaging talks, live demos, quiz, and hands-on assignments. Attendees will put their knowledge to the test with a hands-on assignment as they advance through the modules.

All attendees will be awarded a ‘certificate of attendance’ for successfully completing all five modules. You can register for ‘Week of AI’ here.
