Microsoft updates Windows Reading List app and Bing Food & Drink app for Windows 8.1

Microsoft has rolled out two new app updates for those of you who use the Reading List app and the Bing Food & Drink app on Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, Microsoft has not provided a change log just yet so we are left curious as to what was fixed or improved.

“Do you ever run out of time to read articles or watch videos you’ve found online? With Reading List, you can easily track and manage all of the content you want to get back to later in a beautiful display. You can share content to your list from the web or from other apps and easily come back to it when you have more time. Whatever you like to read or watch, the app makes it easy to save, find and get back to things you like, listing content you’ve saved in chronological order,” the app description reads.

The Windows Reading List app is an app that comes pre-installed with Windows 8.1 and features the ability to track and manage content you wish to read later. In a world where there is so much content, sometimes we just want to sit back, relax, and read it in peace at a later time. This app allows you to do just that. Consider it a bookmark for your favorite content.

On the other hand, we have the Bing Food & Drink app. This app is like an encyclopedia for all things dining. Both of these apps were updated today, however, Microsoft does a poor job in offering the change log right away.

“The Bing Food & Drink app makes it easy to explore recipes, choose wine and cocktails, and learn tips from celebrity chefs to make your next meal a taste tempting success. You’ll enjoy beautiful photos, easy to follow instructions and helpful tools such as a shopping list and meal planner. Enter notes or upload your own recipes and with a single tap you can share your favorites with friends. An indispensable companion, featuring a hands-free “Cooking Mode”, the Food & Drink app will have your kitchen sizzling with your next creation,” the app description reads.

Hit the download link below to force update both apps. Let us know if you notice any new improvements!
