Microsoft seems to be working on a new promotional feature called “Free Play Day with Gold” for the Xbox One platform which will allow Xbox Live Gold subscribers to download and play any Xbox One game title for free for 24-hours.
According to the image, one such game could be Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, which is pictured standing next to August’s Xbox One Games with Gold titles. Adding more credibility to this plan is a tweet from the Xbox Support team, which hints that a “Free Play Day with Gold” plan will be announced in the near future.
@PrestoFriend531 Gotcha. Looks like it is actually. We’ll be in touch here shortly. 🙂 ^AD

Microsoft already offers several premium game titles to Xbox Live subscribers for free every month. The company recently announced EA Access, a program that gets Xbox One users access to EA titles before the official release date. The company could really use such plans to make its existing users happy, and lure in plenty from the other side of the fence as well.
