Microsoft has just announced the release of Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 18980, which follows the release of Windows 10 20H1 build 18980 last week. There’s apparently nothing new in the release notes except for some API changes, and you can download this new build from the developer section of Microsoft’s Windows Insider website.
In addition to the new SDK, Microsoft also released Windows Admin Center Preview 1909 today. This latest version of the graphical management tool for Windows Server brings minor improvements for Azure VMs, Packetmon, as well as some visual changes. “This will be the last preview release in anticipation of the next generally available release of Windows Admin Center coming in the next two months,” the Windows Insider team said today. This latest build is available to download from the Windows Server Insider Preview download page.
We hope that Microsoft has new Windows 10 20H1 and 19H2 preview builds in the pipeline for later this week. It’s been nearly a week since the 20H1 build 18980 shipped to Fast Ring Insiders, and the latest 19H2 builds have been released two weeks ago. We’ll let you know as soon as we get an update from the Windows Insider team.
