Microsoft and gaming developers have been making a concerted effort lately to make their games available on both the Xbox One and PCs, with titles such as Rise of the Tomb Raider and Quantum Break shipping for Windows 10. Indeed, Microsoft’s newest operating system recently surpassed Windows 7 as the most popular gaming OS among Steam users.
With that in mind, Microsoft took some time over at the Xbox News site to highlight some of what they consider being the best Windows 10 gaming systems around. Here’s their list of best systems:
Alienware Area-51: “…Alienware introduces an industrial design that is engineered to deliver optimized airflow and thermal management, best-in-class ergonomics, and the ultimate 4K gaming experience.”
MSI Nighblade X2: “Sturdy, stable, and solid, MSI’s compact Nightblade X2 desktop is loaded with the perfect ammunition for PC gamers who don’t want to compromise on gaming performance. “
Razer Blade: “The Razer Blade is the ultimate gaming notebook, providing full gaming performance while remaining incredibly thin and light.”
Acer Predator G6: “Acer describes its Predator G6 desktop pretty succinctly. In their words, this unstoppable war machine represents “Total Domination.”
iBUYPOWER Revolt 2: “Some would argue that the video card is what makes a gaming PC… well, a gaming PC! With the iBUYPOWER Revolt 2, the video card is front and center, displaying a beautiful design that most cases hide away.”
ASUS Republic of Gamers G11: “The battle-ready ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) G11 gaming desktop is equipped with a 6th-generation Intel Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce graphics – and it’s designed for extreme performance.”
CyberPower PC: “The super-awesome CyberPower PC is powered by an Intel “Skylake” Core i7 processor, and rocks an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 4K graphics card.”
Falcon Northwest Tiki: “With the Tiki, Falcon Northwest reduced the size of the PC to its absolute minimum – while still housing the fastest components ever made!”
Lenovo ideacentre Y900: “Lenovo’s ideacentre Y900 desktops offer choice in a sleek, edgy design for gamers who want performance with Windows 10 and the latest Intel Core processors.”
Of course, that’s only a subset of all of the great machines out there for gaming on Windows 10. And the hardcore gamer still can choose from the best available components to build out their own monster machine.
