Microsoft Planner app on iOS and Android

The iOS Microsoft Planner app updated to Version 1.7.8 today on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

This latest update added support for native sharing on iOS devices which means that Microsoft Planner will now show up as an option or service when choosing to share content from another app or from a website.

Here’s the official, very short, release notes for this latest update:

You can now share content to Planner from other apps. Find a file, URL, or image and choose Share, then Planner to create a new task with your content attached.
