Earlier today, Dona Sarkar mentioned that things will be getting “very busy” for Windows Insiders over the next few days. Now just a few hours after the head of the Windows Insider program made this announcement, Microsoft has chosen to move Windows 10 Insider build 16291 to the Slow Ring.
Heads up! We've released Build 16291 for PC to #WindowsInsiders in the Slow ring. https://t.co/hfkBsYsaVe

As has been the theme these past few weeks, there is not anything major in build 16291. This build contains the usual set of fixes, and also a new feature which allows Cortana users to resume articles from their iPhones and Android to PC from within the Cortana app. You can read up on what has changed in this build by checking our original coverage from a few days ago.
This is good news for slow ring Windows Insiders, but those who have opted to Skip Ahead will need to wait until next week for new builds. The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is obviously very close to RTM, so Microsoft is prioritizing and working to put the finishing touches on RS3 before releasing it to the wider Windows 10 audience. Happy downloading, and please keep the feedback coming to Microsoft!
