If you’ve found the Cortana integration with Windows Search a little annoying with Windows 10, Microsoft may be working on a solution.
Called the “Conversation Canvas”, it could allow Cortana to be separated into its own view, similar to how competing assistants work, like Google Assistant. Thus, moving it away from the Windows Search flyout.

A Twitter user by the name of “Albatross” shared a screenshot of the feature, reportedly in Windows 10 19H1, the next major feature update for Windows 10. As always, take it with a grain of salt until the feature is officially confirmed.
