Microsoft has launched a new blog for its Xbox platform, called Xbox Wire. Before the launch of this new blog, Microsoft has used Xbox’s Director of Xbox Live Larry Hyrb and his blog called Major Nelson for Xbox related news.
“Our new official Xbox news source is now online “Xbox Wire” (I’ll be making an appearance over there now and then),” Larry Hyrb stated on Twitter. Microsoft is set to reveal the next generation Xbox console on May 21st, so it makes perfect sense for Microsoft to launch this new Xbox Wire blog.
“You’ll see some familiar faces on Xbox Wire. Our executives will write blogs occasionally, but most of our blogs will be from everyday people on the Xbox team. Our own Major Nelson will appear as well – both via blog posts and through interviews – of course, Major’s fans can also continue to follow along with him at MajorNelson.com,” Xbox Wire’s Lisa Gurry stated.
