For those who have been testing Windows 8.1 Preview, you most likely are messing around with Internet Explorer 11 Preview as well. In an official blog post today, Microsoft is highlighting Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1 and the company is touting IE11 as the only browser to offer the best daily browsing experience across devices.

“IE11 on Windows 8.1 enables the best daily browsing experience across your devices in a way that feels equally great for touch, mouse and keyboard and is optimized for getting to the sites you love fast and using apps and sites together,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

We recently reported on this, but Microsoft today brought it up once again that Internet Explorer 11 supports up to 100 tabs per window and can manage these tabs efficiently. According to Microsoft, these tabs that haven’t been used recently will not eat up system resources or drain your battery.

IE11 also allows you to access your synced tabs from any connected Windows 8.1 devices as well as show the address bar and tabs at the same time. Microsoft has also fixed up IE11 to instantly present you with a list of frequent sites you are likely to visit, and all you have to do is tap on the address bar or open a new tab.

If you haven’t given IE11 a try yet, it comes in Preview form in the recently released Windows 8.1 Preview. You can also check out the video below showcasing the new features in IE11.
