The internet is still buzzing over the fact that the new Xbox One entertainment console from Microsoft features restricting requirements when it comes to Internet connectivity and other Xbox One features. During an interview, Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business President, Don Mattrick, stated that there is an alternative option for those who don’t have access to the internet.

\

“I think people are going to love it, and then they’re going to understand what we’re trying to create, and how it links games and entertainment, the functionality of the box. Some of the advantages that you get of having a box that is designed to use an online state, so that to me is the future-proof choice, and I think people could’ve arguably gone the other way if we didn’t do it and fortunately we have a product for people who aren’t able to get some form of connectivity, it’s called Xbox 360,” Mattrick adds.

\

Mattrick further explains that for those who have zero access to the internet, then the Xbox 360 would be a perfect option, since the new Xbox One is designed to utilize the internet. The Xbox One utilizes the internet to allow gamers to play via the cloud and much more. Microsoft also released an updated Xbox 360 device and has no plans to disregard that platform, since it has been making quite a bit of money for the software giant.

\

You can take a look below at the interview in which Mattrick mentions the alternative to the Xbox One being the Xbox 360. Do you see an issue with this? Sound off in the comments below.
