Last October, Microsoft held a big event in New York where the Windows 10 Creators Update shared the spotlight with the new Surface Studio all-in-one PC. The latest member of the Surface family started shipping in the US back in December, but the company had yet to reveal when the Surface Studio would be available to purchase in other markets.
It seems that the all-in-one PC could soon be heading to Europe though, as we just learned that the creative-focused workstation will be available in France in the summer. A Microsoft representative just told French website Numerama that the Surface Studio will launch in limited quantities in July, with more inventory to be available in September. No word on pricing yet, but the company is also expected to start showcasing the all-in-one-PC in the country pretty soon.
It’s still not clear if Microsoft plans to release the Surface Studio in other European markets in the summer, but we’ll keep you informed. In the US, it looks like you still need to be patient to order one for yourself: the cheapest model ($3,000) currently ships by March 31 while the most expensive one ($4,199) ships by May 15.
