The Australian Microsoft Store has the unlocked Lumia 950 and 950XL variants listed in all their glory, although neither are yet available for pre-order. Australia thus joins a growing list of Microsoft sites listing their newest flagship smartphones, including the US store that is so far limited to the Lumia 950XL.
The Lumia 950 lists at AU$1,099, which at current exchange rates equates to about US $806, and the Lumia 950XL is AU$1,199 (US$879). There’s often a premium for US devices sold overseas, but those seem like relatively salty prices compared to the US variants at US$549 for the Lumia 950 and US$649 for the Lumia 950XL. We’ll have to see if those prices hold once pre-orders (and live orders) become available.
So, if you’re down under, check out the listings and get your Australian dollars saved up. You shouldn’t have too terribly long to wait for Microsoft’s newest smartphones.
