For the past few weeks, it’s been all about the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. But there is one other phone Microsoft unveiled earlier this year — the Lumia 550. This smartphone is the first budget Windows 10 Mobile device and it’s available now in Europe. Here’s what Microsoft had to say in an official blog post:
“Sales of the new Microsoft Lumia 550, which offers the best of Microsoft to people who value affordability and uncompromised quality, begin today in Europe. Other regions around the globe will follow in the coming weeks.”
The Lumia 550 is a 4.7-inch phone with a 1280 x 720 display, Snapdragon 210 processor, 5MP camera, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. The phone runs for $139 USD and is available in select markets, but Microsoft has not revealed exactly which markets.
