Lotus F1 Team Uses Custom Office 365 Apps To Help Them Win Races – onmsft.com

Microsoft is all-in on the cloud, and if you didn’t know that yet, the company likes to feature interesting use cases of its cloud technologies by enterprises in all kind of sectors. Today, the company shared the testimony of Mark Everest, Lotus F1 Team head of software development, who explains how the team used Office 365 APIs to build custom apps to manage Lotus F1 Team race crew logistics.

In this new highlighted use-case, the team built “new underpinnings with a flexible data model in Azure, a web front end for logistics planning and user management, a mobile app that worked across mobile platforms and an Outlook add-in to integrate race events directly into users’ calendars”.
