Live-PA enables compliant, server based, permanent or on-demand call recording for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 and Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 R2

23rd February 2011 – Live-PA Ltd has today launched Live-PA, a permanent or on-demand call recording solution for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 and Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 R2 which allows businesses to capture, playback and share calls.

Live-PA call recording is available as an on-premise or hosted solution which allows businesses to improve the traceability and accessibility of the information recorded in their calls, but it is also a server-based solution that is regulatory compliant.

James Howard, [Channel Manager] from Live-PA said: “Call recording has changed from just being a business need to a legal and commercial requirement. Live-PA’s call recording solution enables Microsoft Lync Server 2010 and OCS 2007 R2 users to record, manage, document and access calls with efficiency and simplicity.

“In addition to regulatory compliance, Live-PA call recording can be used as a tool to help organisations improve their customer service levels and train staff to respond and react to enquiries with greater efficiency and professionalism.”

Live-PA saves and stores calls as secure Microsoft Windows Media Audio (WMA) files which can be easily retrieved via Microsoft SharePoint Services. Each WMA file can be searched by its name, date or tag via the search mechanism on the Live-PA portal. In addition, Live-PA call recording allows for:

A complete audit trail of access to the recordings
Ability to set policies for the storage and access to the calls
Actions recorded during a call can be emailed to all participants
