Starting today, if you are running Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14352, the LastPass Microsoft Edge extension is now available for download. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until later this summer, when Microsoft adds support for Extensions in Edge with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
Microsoft has already released Edge Extensions for AdBlock, Office Online, Save to Pocket, and more.
The LastPass Edge extension allows users to save and use passwords for multiple websites so you don’t have to use the same password multiple times for logins. LastPass also allows you to save and use more complex passwords too.
So far, LastPass is one of the most anticipated Microsoft Edge extensions. Like most other Edge extensions, LastPass looks to be ported using its Google Chrome extension. The LastPass Google Chrome extension is packed with features, and all of those features are readily available in the LastPass Edge extension.
This is the latest Microsoft Edge extension made by a third-party company to be released. Support for Edge extensions is still only available to Windows Insider program members, but more are expected to be available this summer with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.
LastPass is available for Windows 10 in the link below. Just a reminder though, the LastPass Edge extension is only available to Windows Insiders running the latest preview build (14352) of Windows 10.
