Is Windows 11 better than MacOS? This ‘MakeUseOf’ report says so

Windows and MacOS are globally recognized operating systems with distinct features and interfaces. Therefore, selecting between the two requires careful consideration of various factors. However, according to a report published by MakeUseOf, Windows 11 surpasses MacOS in terms of performance and overall functionality.

The report states that Windows 11 offers enhanced multitasking capabilities through its “Snap layouts” feature. Depending on the screen size, users can choose from six different layouts to align their windows for optimal productivity. In contrast, macOS only allows for the display of two apps side by side, which requires more effort. Moreover, the Windows 11 taskbar offers superior functionality when compared to the macOS Dock. This is evident from the ability to customize the taskbar’s color, transparency, and alignment of app icons. On top of this, the OS boasts better app support due to its widespread popularity as a desktop operating system.

Besides, Windows 11 offers compatibility with many Android apps through the Amazon Appstore. While this functionality doesn’t allow access to every Android app offered on Google Play Store, it does provide a convenient way to enjoy an array of popular Android apps on your Windows 11 PC. It’s important to note, however, that the macOS operating system solely supports iPhones and lacks compatibility with Android devices. The integration between iPhone devices and Windows 11 is less seamless due to Apple’s controlled approach to sharing its software and services with third parties.

Other than this, the Phone Link for iPhone feature allows users of Windows 11 to seamlessly connect their iOS devices, while macOS is only compatible with iPhones and not Android devices.

We would appreciate your input on your preferred operating system – Windows or macOS. Kindly share your views in the comment section below.
