6tag for Windows Phone, the popular third party client for Instagram, has snagged an interesting update today. The new version comes with several new neat little features, in addition to usual bug fixes and performance improvements.
Bumping up the version number to 3.4, 6tag adds two location-based features to the service. Besides that, it also provides users with more control over things they are posting. The complete change-log of the app is as mentioned below.
- Be able to use location included into the file when you use a picture from the phone
- Go back to your position after a regram
- Bug fixes
For location-based feature, the app uses the image’s geotag information. This enables users to either pick the current location or use the information fetched from geotagging functionality. The “regram” feature allows users to manually tweak the location for a photo.
