If you’re a 90s kid, and got your hands on one of those monochrome feature phones from Nokia, you would’ve played the classic Snake game. Back then, it was the only thing you could pass your time with on your phone while waiting in a queue or on your daily commute.
German game developers, Kloppe Media wants to have a fix for that nostalgia with their new game – Hungry Eaters – for Windows 10 PC and Mobile. Hungry Eaters reimagine the endless arcade game with creative 3D voxel graphics and a refreshed gameplay.
The game features over 80 different characters in 20 worlds, with daily challenges thrown in. All you need to do is eat food and avoid enemies and obstacles. Your body keeps on growing and you speed up if you reach your body limit, and you can let your body parts remove the moving obstacles – but if you hit your head it’s over. Useful power-ups help you maximize your score and compete in the Leaderboard with your friends and players all over the world.
The game offers four different control schemes, and I’d urge you to check out all of them to see what works for you. By default, the control seems laggy and not responsive enough.
Hungry Eaters is a fun tribute to the classic Snake game for both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, with 3D environment, creative elements, and a twist in the gameplay. Check it out, and let us know how you like it.
