Hands On With The New Xbox 360 Emulation Support On Xbox One (video) – onmsft.com

Xbox One

Microsoft announced earlier today that Xbox 360 emulation was coming to Xbox One, enabling the ability for gamers to play all their favorite Xbox 360 games directly on the Xbox One hardware. The emulation features are available today for Xbox One Previewers, and will be available to the public later this year. Right now there aren’t many titles, however there will be 100’s by the time this rolls out publicly.

We’ve taken our hands and placed them all over this new emulation software to show you how it works. I’ll admit, I was expecting this to be buggy, and while it may be a little slow to load initially, games feel native, which is amazing. The Xbox One literally emulates the Xbox 360 software, giving you access to the Xbox 360 guide, friends list, profile, achievements, notifications and more.

Check out the video above and let us know what you think about this new ability on Xbox One. Will this make you upgrade from the Xbox 360 to Xbox One? What other 360 games do you want to be able to play on your Xbox One? Leave your comments below!
