If you reside in Europe, you must grab the official Euronews app for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8. You can stay updated on current affairs, business, culture, and science news — all from an European perspective.

\n

“Euronews, the most watched news channel in Europe, covers international news in 13 languages. With 400 journalists from more than 30 nationalities, Euronews offers a unique, independent and totally impartial perspective on world events,” the app description reads.

\n

The app allows you to express your opinion with comments and share stories via social networks. The app is available in 13 different languages, with more to come soon. The app supports touchscreen gestures, Live tiles, and Snap support. With the Windows Phone app, you can Live stream Euronews TV. This feature is set to arrive on the Windows 8.1 app soon.

\n

The app for Windows 8.1 plans to add new features in the near future, allowing users to test their knowledge with news quiz, the ability to see other users’ opinions in an interactive map, the ability to search for stories easily, and the ability to bookmark stories as well as receive alerts for breaking news. No time frame was provided on when we might see these features added to the app. All of these features, except for the ability to receive alerts for breaking news, are present in the Windows Phone app.
