It has been almost a year since Gears of War 4 made its global debut at E3 2015. Today, however, we can now report that the wait for the newest Gears title will soon be over. The new chapter in the Gears of War series is set to launch Worldwide on October 11th, 2016.
The new addition to the series will mark the start of a new adventure for gaming’s most acclaimed titles. In Gears of War 4, a brand new set of heroes will rise up and confront a new threat. Brutal and intimate action, a campaign which will raise your heart rate, and stunning visuals powered by Unreal Engine 4 are all expected aspects of the new title once it launches.
Until then, you can get an early taste of the action by trying out the Gears of War 4 Beta on Xbox One. If you currently own and play Gears of War Ultimate Edition, you will be able to join the beta on April 18th. After that initial test, the beta will expand and other Xbox Live members will be able to join the beta experience on April 25th.
