Fujitsu Q704 now available for order in the US

Just recently Fujitsu rather suddenly made its Q584 tablet available for order in the US. Now, just as unexpectedly, the hardware maker has followed suit with the big brother — known as the Q704. You’ll need to dig deep into our wallet for this one, but you should receive a superior product in exchange for the money. What is the company offering for the price?

The Stylistic Q704 packs an Intel Core i5 processor, 12.5-inch HD display, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. You’ll also find both front and rear cameras, as well as a generous helping of ports, including USB 3.0. Customers have a choice of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, and a trial of Office is also included in the deal.

What does this rather large and hefty (at 2.6 pounds) tablet set the buyer back? Well prices open at $1,499 and rise from there. It’s not cheap, and the size makes it a bit unwieldy as a tablet, but you can also count on good build quality and a device that’s designed to stand up to rigorous use. The question is, would you pay the price for it?
