The Windows 10 free-to-play racing game, Asphalt 9: Legends, is now available to play (also for free) on Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox Series X console families.

The Xbox version of Asphalt 9: Legends shares the same Microsoft Store listing as the Windows version so those who have already downloaded it on their Windows 10 PC or tablet should see it in their library of purchased games on their Xbox console.

The Xbox version of Asphalt 9 does appear to link to progress made in the Windows version though those playing on iOS, Android, or Nintendo Switch will be unable to transfer their accounts over as they use separate app stores. Crossplay between Xbox consoles and Windows devices is confirmed.

Also, while the store listing makes no mention of Xbox Achievements, it does indeed support them on Xbox consoles. Asphalt 9 will also play in 4K at 120 FPS on Xbox Series X and S consoles.
