Foursquare's Swarm app arrives on Windows Phone

In May, the location-based social networking site, Foursquare split its experience into two apps — and launched Swarm on iOS and Android. Three months later, the company has launched the Swarm app on Windows Phone Store as well.

Swarm aims to provide users a convenient way to stay in touch with friends, and keep up with what they are doing, as well as lets you check into venues. In addition, the app also lets you share the whereabouts of your neighborhood.

Swarm also lets you find your friends within 500 ft, a mile, and so on. “Swarm, the new app from Foursquare, is the fastest way to keep up and meet up with your friends. With Swarm, you can easily see who’s out nearby and who wants to hang out later.“, its app description reads.

In short, the app lets you know when your friends are at a place nearby, as well as allow you to message them. Many experts have found the app a big step forward in the world of location sharing.

With that in mind, go ahead and snag the app from the download link below. Let us know how you like it!
